Intent: It is the intent to promote, protect, and improve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of South Daytona.

Responsibilities:  To enforce the City's Code of Ordinances, Land Development Code and the International Property Maintenance Code.

Hearings: A Special Master meeting is conducted on the second Thursday of each month at 9 am in the City Hall, City Council Chambers.

Common Code Violations:  High grass/weeds, edging of sidewalks, driveways and street gutters, abandoned vehicles, abandoned structures, trash and debris, noise, signs in the Right-of-Way, construction without a permit, address identification, illegal parking.
